With one of the software upgrades (I think it was the one for the engine overheating), I experienced this issue with the windows afterward - had to bring it back to the dealership - and they reset it for me. I think it runs the risk of this happening any time there is some sort of reboot.

Previous owner of: 2013 SEL, White Platinum, 4WD, 1.6 LTR engine, full leather, panoramic roof, MFT (no nav), all weather mats, 18" alloy wheels. Went where ever bad Escapes go to die by way of Ford's Reacquired Vehicle Program.
