I installed the spoiler a week ago. Fit and finish is perfect. I used the 3m tape and 3m 5200 adhesive/sealant to adhere it to the lift gate. Im not worried about it coming off.

Very stylish looking.

I had a 3m stick on style duck spoler on my 05 Mustang GT. The next 2 years i had it, it never come off or looked like it was going to come off. Just make sure to prep it correctly.

Those spoilers looks good!

What is the tape that is used to attach the spoiler? We use the 3M VHB tape to attach devices to the tops of big rig trailers. If that is what is used, then I agree with whitricobra. Prep the surface and use the primer and that thing isn't going anywhere.

I just ordered a spoiler for our FE. Should be here tomorrow and I should have it on this Friday.

Cool. And its like you said. its all in the prep work.

You will notice in my pic above the 3M tape that came with it. Its was too thin in my opinion. Went to Advanced Auto and got the same type tape, but like 1mm to 1.5mm thicker.

Another footnote. The bolts that came with it in my pic above were actually too long, so I very carefully driled out the bolt hole and bottom taped it to accept the length of the bolt. I normally would of just cut the bolt, but then only like 3 threads would of engaged.

Installed ours last week and it looks pretty good. Quality was good too. I just prepped it and only used the 3m tape. So far it's held up to driving and a bad/windy storm.

I just ordered mine. I'll post pics as soon as it's done. Gonna just use the 3M install. I sell a ton of factory accessories that use only 3m tape per manufacturer recommendation. Spoilers, body side moldings, trim pieces, chrome, etc. It will be fine.
