the spoiler is indented so it will fit around the light but there is no hole there

Thanks for the reply. For some reason it looked like I can see the wall stud that is behind the FE between the brake light and the spoiler.

I'm still torn about these, there's just something "off" about spoilers on SUV body vehicles that I could never quite put my finger on. Then it dawned on me... They look kind of like a duck bill stuck on them

I won't have any of my vehicle until it warms up enough for me to clean it properly and take good pictures, but I do have some that helped me make my decision. These pictures are from the internet, not my vehicle, but it should give you an idea. They look so much nicer in person. Then you'll be looking at all the cars with the standard wide spoilers and be sick of them! It's so nice to have something different, and not many people get the winglets because they're more expensive. The Escape looks so much better with any spoiler that you can't go wrong with any design.
Thanks! I've been searching for more pictures of these installed and have been coming up empty, came here specifically hoping to see more pictures.
Also does anyone know if the spoiler listed from Spoiler king will fit the 2017 okay? I'm guessing it will, but on their website 2017 isn't one of the listed years.
Thanks

I don't have a 2017. I was a very early adopter of these, installing mine in 2013. Mine has 2 bolts securing it along with tape. It's been so long I don't remember where I got it. I think china.
