T30 Torx Bolt Size (Splash Shield)?

Does anyone know the size of the T30 Torx screws that hold the splash shield?

Apparently they're popular because my local dealership or jiffy lube only put 3 of them back in and pocketed the rest (or let them fall down a drain).

From what I understand, the T30 designation is the size of the bolt head, not the size of the bolt itself - please correct me if I'm wrong!

I could be wrong but I thought that they were T27 torx screws.
Note that the part number is different then the ebay screws.

These will also work: 1.6 Oil Change

Here's the part numbers for the screws and the orange nuts that they screw into:
W700501-S901 UNDER COVER SCREW
W702438-S300 UNDER COVER NUT

Tasca is cheapest at .67 each, but their minimum shipping is $12 so I bought 20 of each and the horns for my 2005 Sable (which was $18 under list) to offset the shipping.

I unscrewed one of the splash (heat) shield torx screws from my 2014 Escape SE with a T27 torx bit.

Not sure how you came up with the W700501-S901 as the screw for the Escape shield. It's used on the Ford Fusion, Focus, and Lincoln MKZ.
If you do a Tasca parts search for a 2014 Ford Escape, better yet use your Vin #, Genuine Parts for 2014 Ford Escape|SE 2.0L L4 - Gas

Then click on Exhaust Systems: 2014 Ford Escape SE 2.0L L4 - Gas

Then click on Heat Shields: HEAT SHIELDS for 2014 Ford Escape
Part #2 , W702413-S307, is the correct part # for the torx screw for the shield. The W700501-S901 screw may work if it's approximately the same thread size as the W702438-S300.

W702438-S300 is the correct part # for the orange plastic insert nuts. I obtained a few of these from the dealer back when we had a 2013 Escape.

Thanks a ton for this post. I recently lost the printout I had and I needed those part numbers to get the dealership to get me replacements after their tech doing my CPO stripped a few of the nuts and I lost my shield.

I just replaced my lower engine shield with the hard plastic one and while I was under there I replaced a few missing screws and stripped plastic nuts. Here's the parts I used:

7 orange plastic nuts: W702438-S300 (3 for the front of the shield, 4 for the rear)
7 T30 screws: W700501-S901 (3 for the front, 4 for the rear) Black arrows in picture below
2 7mm screws: W702413-S307 (one for each left and right side) Red arrows in picture below

Yes, That is the engine guard I ordered and it is sold on Aliexpress. You will like it way more than the biodegradable stock fiberboard engine guard with a scoop. It is made out of thick durable ABS plastic and the access doors work great for oil changes and they close with a reassuring click too. I bought mine because the factory one was missing on my Escape titanium when I bought it used. It fit perfectly and I like that I do not have to remove an entire engine shield each and every time I want to change my oil like the owners with stock ones do. Plus they are even better price than the poorly made OEM engine guard. I could see this engine guard easily lasting for the entire life of your Escape and that is a testament how well it is made.

I'm of course leery about ordering directly from China, what forms of payment does Aliexpress accept, does your email get spammed now?
