Screen Selection

Hi all, this is my first post. I recently purchase a 2013 Ford Escape (Frosted Glass) with 11,000 miles. So far, I love the car. I just was wondering, if possible, how to change the screen on the dash so I can see split screens with my mileage, miles to empty, etc. I can only see this one screen at a time and I swear I saw where someone had a picture of all 4 screens visible at once. Any help would be appreciated. I love this forum, I have learned so much already!

IIRC, you enter the menu by clicking OK on the left hand steering wheel dial, toggle to information section, and click down to the last screen.

If you don't get the split window at this point, your Escape may need to get the latest firmware update at the dealer.

Any idea when the last firmware update was? And any idea when the split screen option became available?

You need this TSB. Mine is in right now having it applied - and the inaccurate GPS one too.

Yes, although I'm not sure when the quad-screen firmware update was made at the factory, Escapes that didn't already have it generally received it through the fuel display TSB cited by snave.

How long does it take them to install the firmware update into the Escape. I imagine that it takes longer waiting for the appointment than it does actually installing the software.

I was wondering the same thing after I saw the picture. I don't have the split screen but my buddy's Focus and my rented Fusion both have it.

I believe you are referring to the MFT update. The TSB update for the quad screen in front of the drivers seat must be performed by the dealer.
