2017 SE Headlights?????????

Wanted to upgrade low beams, halogen projectors, on the new Escape SE. Owners manual and all bulb manufacturer sites say H11 for lows and 9005 for highs. Decided to pull the bulbs to see what I've got. Low beams have Sylvania 9005xv and high beams have H9. Anyone else run into this issue?

Not yet, but its on my list of things to upgrade. Will post back when I pull them on my 17 Titanium.

The Sylvania bulb replacement guide still doesn't have 2017 models on their website yet.

I'm putting Sylvania SilverStar ZXEs in our '16 FE SE model......

I've got them in our other vehicles and they are GREAT!

I don't have any experiance with LED headlights, and PLEASE, no offense I don't care for the projector headlights......

I don't think sylvania has an "ultra" type bulb out yet for '17. Maybe try Phillips or GE? I hear the Extreme and Nighthawk bulbs by them are good too

What's the issue? Replace with the bulb style that you found as original equipment. Many of those bulbs are similar. There is a lot of cross reference possible

I think what he's saying is that he wants one of those extra bright bulbs Sylvania makes rather than the standard sylvania bulbs. His issue is that those aren't out for the 2017 yet from Sylvania

maybe they haven't made a listing for the 2017. but Ford didnt invent new light bulbs.

I'm sure they have a brighter version of 9005 and H9 bulb that he found.

Here's hoping, I like those bulbs too, the shorter lifespan doesn't bother me

I am considering putting the ZXE's in my 2017 Titanium. I had them for 2+ years in my last car with zero issues (traded it in and they were still going strong).

I just don't want to fiddle with the factory set up right now on my 2017... and I'll need to do the fog lamps too (if possible).

It just bugs me that my LED running lights are so white and the factory headlight bulbs are off-colored. You'd think they'd be a closer color match (somehow newer Toyota Corollas seem to have an ideal headlight color imo).

Part of my motivation for getting 301A was to have xenons to match the led running lights. I plan to put led in the fog lights next.
