I've owned my '17 Titanium for less than two weeks.

I know it's not dead accurate but my first full tank said 353 miles to empty. A huge increase from my F150.

The second full tank said 263 miles to empty. A 90 mile drop.

The computer calculated approx 5.7 mpg less the second tankful.

I have FE for about 2 months now, drive about 20 miles per day, mostly city and I am getting about 23 mpg. I do use remote start 10 min about, early morning when its cold and temperature is < 30 F these days.

With my 2.0 I'm averaging 24-25 mpg, and that's with the winter gas blend we get up here in Maine which burns less efficiently by 1-2 mpg. No highway, so I would expect about 29-30 mpg highway. I use 87 octane which has 10% ethanol; no choice up here as all gas has 10% regardless of octane. I think that is really good mpg for a twin scroll turbo with full time all wheel drive and no CVT transmission that can tow 3500 Ibs. Come spring when the engine is broken-in and we have have summer gas once again and I expect the numbers to be even better.

EPA MPG Estimates. Lower MPG on 2016 FWD 2.0L to 24 comb. 21 city 29 hwy. was 25 comb. 22 city 20 hwy. So now 2017 FWD 2.0L 25 comb. 22 city 29 hwy. get a little better MPG. May be new twin-scroll engine + auto start-stop.

Mine is, I didn't buy the front wheel drive version. Maybe my definition of AWD is different than yours, I can't keep up with all these acronyms today.

There is a thread on the forum that discusses AWD vs 4X4 and what the Escape is. If anyone wants to know more on it.
