Toyotaís youth oriented Scion brand makes their only appearance here on the resale list with the tC. With 180 hp and 173 lb-ft of torque, the tC is a peppy compact with a sporty look. Also, thanks to itís huge list of customization options, thereís always the opportunity to personalize the tC in whatever way you want. This is only one of two cars that make the list so be prepared to see a lot of SUVs and trucks ahead. The Scion tC finds its value still at 60.0 percent after 36 months and 46.5 percent after 60 months.

9. 2013 Honda Civic



Even though the new Honda Civic isnít available yet, itís already highly rated to be one of the best cars in terms of resale. The Civic is a staple in the compact car segment, and is a symbol of cheap, reliable transportation, so itís no surprise that itís been awarded the number nine spot in our top 10. The new model sports a more refined interior, and a sharper exterior, making it more competitive compared to other vehicles in the segment. The Honda Civic enjoys 62.5 percent resale value after 36 months and 46.9 percent after 60 months.

8. 2013 Lexus LX



The luxurious Lexus LX is known for being a wonderfully equipped and comfortable version of the Toyota Land Cruiser. Unlike many other luxury brands, Lexus doesnít suffer that much from resale value depreciation, which is why the LX sits at number eight on our top 10. The Lexus LX features a 5.7L V8 and full-time 4WD, just two important features that makes the big SUV enjoy 65.0 percent after 36 months and 47 percent after 60 months.

The Toyota 4Runner combines a gutsy off-road vehicle with typical Toyota reliability and performance, making it a safe bet if you’re looking for a car with solid resale vehicle. The Toyota 4Runner finds its value still at 66.7 percent after 36 months and 49 percent after 60 months.

Available under $20,000 the Tacoma is a popular vehicle for those looking for a work-friendly truck as well as typical Toyota reliability. After 36 months, the Toyota Tacoma is still worth 70.3 percent and 57 percent after 60 months.
