Most Ford (especially Mustang) guys are universally panning the new look. I am not too sure what they are all upset about, the car isn't THAT bad looking and is likely much better looking in person. One thing for sure is, Ford didn't get real brave with the new look, which IS a bit disappointing. Early concept art showed a much nicer looking profile, much more...dare we say?...Japanese looking...that would have brought the car into the 21st century. The end result after all the certification to various requirements isn't ground breaking or trend setting by any means, but it isn't hideous (say, like the new Corvette - where GM has finally managed to make it look like a HOTWHEEL toy!).
The 2.3 EB will be a huge hit I am sure for all but the most vociferous V8 fans.
Can't wait to see one on the street!

Saw Ford CEO Alan Mulally showing off the new Mustang on Fox and Friends. I thought it looked really nice. The interior seemed to flow together better with top grade materials. I especially liked the look of the roof line and rear side windows -- reminded me of an Aston Martin. Am looking forward to seeing one in person.
