I think it looks much better from the side and in black on the Sport Appearance package. I'd be down to get one if I could find it for a reasonable price.

I would need to see it in person to be sure before I would purchase.

I'm liking the idea of having something that's a little different, just wish someone would have one on already and i see that car in a parking lot somewhere.
I feel the exact same way. I love that profile look, and my debate would be to paint it body color or black, like you said to match all the accent pieces. But I think that would only look good when there is a good contrast in color. I think my magnetic may not produce the desired look? The good news is that they come in primed in black so I could see how it looks in black before getting painted.

Also I think it would look better as one piece but with the center section that is cut back quite a bit and then having the winglets stick out as they currently do. Keep it as is, but add a connecting piece that's maybe only like an inch thick.

"One man’s Aztec is another man’s Aston." IMHO, these look weird and pricey. https://accessories.ford.com/kit-rea...ler-11119.html

Escape Rear Wing

I purchased my wing from Amazon, Spoiler and Wing King (Ford Escape Spoiler Painted in the Factory Paint Code of Your Choice), perfect paint match and great build quality for $99.

If you check images in my Garage, you'll see that I installed this exact wing, from Spoiler and Wing King. It's even in your colors. It's a great accessory to my Escape, and it is a great addition for the money. The paint was a perfect match. It's been on my car a year and a half in all kinds of weather, and no trouble whatsoever. I'd buy it again anytime.

Just so everyone knows, the winglets from Ford are 2 pieces, and all the aftermarket spoilers (that I have seen) are one piece, full width affairs.

I got a pair of Winglets in the mail, and now I see this special 'anchor' requires drilling holes in the body. To those experienced with autos, what are the advantages / disadvantages of having holes drilled? Will my local Ford shop install them w/o drilling if I request it? Pardon for reviving this old thread.
