Replaced the rotors and pads. Put the EPB in service mode prior. Pistons pushed in easily. Everything reassembled. Took EPB out of service mode. I did pump the brakes a few before. Pedal feels good. No braking action on rear and park brake applies but will not hold. Should I bleed them?

I’ve seen some conflicting info and I’m hoping somebody can offer insight (or maybe point to a procedure): A few posts indicate that, after putting the vehicle in EPB service mode, the rear calipers can be compressed normally (without rotating/using any special tool). Is this accurate?

Yup, read all the posts, and looking for any further clarity as Ford wants to replace by brand new breaks to see if their breaks make a difference. They claim there is no bracket defect on 2015s like the 2013 thread that I read over 10 times. The brakes on this vehicle squeal / howl so loud...

Hi Everyone- Just did another video on a basic brake bleeding for our Escapes- it piggy backed off of the previous pad/rotor replacement vid and focuses on the general practices of doing just one wheel at a time, having a second person to pump the pedal, and then monitoring the reservoir for...

46,900 miles and severe wheel shake on braking. Replaced rear brake pads at 40,000 miles. Front pads today where about 45%. Passenger side wheel was STUCK on and had to bang the #$%T out of it to free it (also used lube spray at lugs and where wheel meets rotor. After getting wheel off and the...

Having a bit of a dilemma with my 2013 Ford Escape. I have a rattling noise in the rear that stops when I brake. I have had 2 mechanics look at it and have 2 different diagnosis. One says its the struts and the other says its a missing retainer spring in the brake housing. Anyone else have...
