I've been browsing around for a while trying to figure out why my 2013 2.0t is throwing code p2096. This code is saying that the post catalytic fuel ratio is too lean which is evident by the downsteam O2 sensor reading around 0.1V, not the normal ~0.4V. I have had tsb 16-0101 completed which called to replace the leaky vvt solenoids, downstream o2 sensor and wiring harness. The car is still running lean and I cannot seem to figure out why. My go to mechanic also could not figure it out. Next step will be the dealer. I have attached a graph of some of the data logs and can provide more detailed logs. I have been running premium fuel in the car with no change.

Some notable data points are:
Long Term fuel trim is always high, between 10% and 20%
Short Term fuel trim seems to fluctuate normally
Downstream O2 sensor (B1S2) reads between 0.09V and 0.08V

If anybody has had a similar problem or has any information that could help it would be greatly appreciated. I can also provide more detailed logs in needed.

What is your bank one sensor one signal looking like? That is where you should see a good fluctuation in voltage for the signal which, in turn, should give you an idea why you're running lean.

Those extremely high long-term trims also indicate the ECM is making a huge correction for something that should not be there.

Really need more information to sort out

Your bank one sensor two 02 reading is absolutely flat.

Did they actually find the engine oil migration and if so were the parts suggested by the TSB actually replaced? Was there a parts list on your service receipt?
