Has anyone ever drilled tapped and installed a drain plug in the rear differential in a 2014 escape?
Hi, while I too would like to drill and tap a drain plug. However I did drill a hole through the cross member which covers the fill plug. Now I just insert a 3/8 drive socket extension to remove fill plug, insert a suction tube a remove the old lubricant, and pump in the new fluid. Certainly beats dealing with the 3/4 of an inch space between the fill plug and the cross member.Has anyone ever drilled tapped and installed a drain plug in the rear differential in a 2014 escape?
Thanks RlSantino I'll look into that option as well.Hi, while I too would like to drill and tap a drain plug. However I did drill a hole through the cross member which covers the fill plug.
