My multi-media screen, including the navigation and Sync control screen, is completely blank. The power button isn't working. I can't listen to the radio, use the navigation, or anything sync related. I can't even see videos from the Reverse camera. I troubleshoot it with Ford customer service and no luck. I reset it by unplugging the battery, no luck. I took it to the dealership and they want $850 to replace the entire radio because my car is beyond the 36K miles warranty, though the car is only 2 years old.

Sounds like some sort of faulty hardware. Did they say faulty screen or APIM?

Isn't it still under warranty?
The bumper-to-bumper 3/36 has expired, the 5/60 powertrain wouldn't cover it.
I'm thinking fuse or bad APIM. Unlikely the whole system would blow up unless it was struck by lightning. He's got no audio or screen.

It's a 2018 per the post. I can't see it being sold early 2017 as a 2018 model.

It would have to have been sold then to have the 3/36K warranty expire.

I have the same problem just tonight on my 2017 Escape. What was the resolution? Did you pay the $850?
