I work at a ford dealer, so I am able to see whats being built for our dealership and it seems like escapes are being built again

I ordered a 2023 escape hybrid on Dec 9th.Original week of production was Mar 13th.Then build day was Mar15th.Then bumped to week of Mar 20th then 27th.Now the scheduled production week is Apr 3rd.

They have officially started my Escape down the line. New estimated delivery to dealer is April 10th.

I should get mine delivered in May sometimes hopefully.Dealer says 4-6 months for delivery.That would put mine around five months.

I called Ford and they had no additional info for me beyond what is in the tracker. The dealer doesn't either. Mine has been in production since Jan 31 with a window sticker. I'd love to see it get on a rail car next week.

Just got a day of production for Apr 12th.Originally it was scheduled week of Mar 13th with an original build day of Mar 15th.This would be four months from when I ordered my vehicle Dec 9th.

After yesterdays update my escape hybrid got moved to the week of Apr 17th to go into production.Five days later.That will be nearly 4 1/2 months from when I ordered Dec 9th.

Just another point of data: I ordered an Escape (new fleet vehicle) on 10/12, and it was built on 1/25. It hasn't moved since then. Maybe soon, but I can follow up once I get a shipped note. The Fleet company hasn't said anything to me.

It looks like my Escape was built yesterday 2023 platinum hybrid. No update on the official public tracker, but according to one of the programs we use it is built and is plantside waiting for a railcar.

They weren't shipping anything through most of February as they were reflashing the software of ones already built. It should get moving soon if it hasn't already

Once built it takes 3-4 weeks to arrive at the dealership they told me.Mine is scheduled for production week of Apr 17th now.Which should have mine at the dealership around mid May or so.If it wasn't for that software issue would had it delivered around mid April.Being delayed by an extra month.

Yep that sounds about right. My ETA for arrival is April 11th which is a month away.

I check that tracker everyday and its completely unreliable.I check with the dealer for accurate info.Thursdays update had build day of Apr 12th now yesterday tracker has week of Apr 17th as production week.Last year on my 2022 escape hybrid production days changed six times.But I got my vehicle in 11 weeks.

I was reading on Ford Authority that they were going to make up for the lost production during the downtime.So mine could go into production before the week of Apr 17th if they do what they say they are going to do.

I don't think they have enough employees to cover 24/7 shifts.So I agree everything is backed up 3-4 weeks.
