I guess we’ll be the first to post a 2023 PHEV order. Standard PHEV, Vapor blue, space gray interior and panoramic vista roof. Let the fun begin 😎. Ordered at dealership at 11:30am this morning.

Ford just announced the amount of tax credit their EVs and PHEVs will qualify for under the IRA after Apr 18th for 2023.

EVs
Ford F-150 Lightning:
$7,500 credit
Ford Mustang Mach-E: $3,750 credit
Ford E-Transit: $3,750 credit
Plug-In Hybrids
Ford Escape Plug-In Hybrid:
$3,750 credit
Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring: $3,750 credit
Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring: $7,500 credit

Disappointing that the Escape PHEV is not $7500, but $3750 is still good.

Glad to it at least gets something and not zero. Hopefully nobody moved any money ahead of time based on the $7500 figure

It's an April miracle! I guess they really are building 2023s. Ordered 11/17/22, built 4/5/23, shipped 4/7/23.

Did you have a Vista Roof and Sirius XM radio?
My tracker showed built awaiting shipment since the 31st, checked today and now it’s back to the beginning saying order received.
Mine is in production right now. Have window sticker. Ordered 12/8
Happy for you to get scheduled - but - my order was placed in September and no word on scheduling yet! Did you remove any options to move up in the line?

No, just "let it ride." Hope you get scheduled soon!

Ordered in September, Got built on the fourth, scheduled to arrive between 6th and 12th. I live in Nashville so transit time shouldn't be too great but depends on when it's put on a truck. Hope to beat the 18th deadline.

Received notice mine is getting built May 8 it does have the sunroof and stereo system and it’s completely loaded with all options except trailer hitch. We will see if that follows through or not I hope so and for all of you I hope you get them soon.

Also here’s what’s on the bottom of the form that the dealer submits to the IRS for the tax credit on cars purchased after 01/01/23 and now before 04/18/23. Top of the form shows purchasers ID and tax ID # ( Social Security number), dealer ID and tax number, VIN number, battery capacity, date of sale, purchase price and tax credit amount from the table below.
Does anyone know if we need to make sure this form is submitted for purchases during that window in 2023?

Dealer is required to submit the form to the IRS. IRS has not set up the system for the dealer to do this yet. Dealer is required to give you a copy of the form for your records. I’m sure there will be a similar form for the post April 18th deliveries. IRS states that the form is supposed to be submitted no later than January 15th of 2024. So we just have to trust that the dealer will fulfill their obligation.

I ordered mine 3:30 pm 9/19/22 at the dealership. Standard PHEV, Vapor blue, space gray interior, 700A.
have you got your 2023 Escape PHEV yet and did you get it for the MSRP that was in affect at the time? Wondering about the $2009 price increse that Ford did after the first of the year?
Has anyone received their escape in Vapor Blue? im waiting to see a picture of one.
I saw the one at the NY car show yesterday and it looks nothing like the color online on the ford site, or the paint sample the dealer had.
Okay, here's my sad story, but with a compromise ending. I placed an order on January 10th for a 2023 Escape PHEV and put down $1,000. This was to be an A-Plan purchase as I am a Ford retiree. I checked back in February and was told that it wasn't scheduled yet (no surprise). I let it go another couple of months and then called last week. My salesman called me back and told me that my order had been "balanced out" (cancelled). He couldn't give me a good explanation except to admit that he and the dealership had dropped the ball somehow. He offered to instead give me another customer's order that had been placed in September (that customer had walked away since it was taking so long). However, since there had been a $2k price increase in February, he couldn't honor the original pricing. I confirmed that this is the case since my name isn't on the original order. Anyway, after some back and forth, we agreed to split the difference and the dealer will give me the car for $900 under A-plan pricing, but $900 over what I originally expected. I'm not happy about this, but I do want the car, it has great incentives here in Oregon, and at least they are honoring the A-plan price and not trying to gouge me with any extra fees. He told me that the order that they put in just before mine has now been scheduled for the end of May, so I'm hoping that mine will be scheduled in the next week or so. We shall see.

I called Ford Customer Service yesterday and they stated my order was "Unscheduled Clean". So not yet scheduled and nothing holding it up for scheduling. I placed my order on November 17, 2022. It seems odd in the order in which they build vehicles. Random chaos at its best.

That is about what it works out to. From what I have read: Parts supply > factory capacity > dealer allocation > dealer priority code > order date.

Part constraints (eg: moonroof, microchips, battery) = limited builds involving that.
Factory can only build so many a month.
High volume dealers (and maybe region of the country) get more builds.

After the first 3 stars align, your order's priority code (10-19 lower is better) and order date are how it should be pulled. Unsure if rollover 22 orders got any priority. A good dealer would have those as lowest Priority code to make sure.

The custom order process should be a queue, but this is how Ford seems to work...
After almost 15 months, I finally got my 23 PHEV. Addons were trailer hitch and rear cargo mat (out of stock but did not hold build).

Ordered 02/02/2022 : $39010 MSRP
Reordered Nov 4 2022 : $40490 MSRP. $2000 transition private offer to comp
Scheduled in Jan 2023 for week of 3/16.
Unscheduled 2/15 (plant shutdown).
Rescheduled 3/9 for week of 4/14.
Built 4/11.
Delivered 4/25 : $42490 MSRP. (should have $2000 price protection)
(Dealer Website auto-listed it at $46225 with addons like pinstripe, digishield, market value adjustment...)

I paid current MSRP minus the transition private offer. Dealer was confused about the same year MSRP price protection. I got a signed form saying if they get the comp after 60 days, they will refund me. (Ford reimburses the dealer 45-60 days, they just did not apply at time of sale.)

I told them no dealer addons. They said they had to apply some protection package, but no charge to me. I agreed. (Another dealer said they had a contract to apply similar to all vehicles.)

Car had 0% battery when I arrived. They made some excuse about their charger not working. Car comes with 120v charger. That worked fine at my home.

Financed with Ford at 0% for 36 months. Dealer had trouble finding that offer. Started with 4% and claimed website was wrong for PHEV. I asked to double check and they "found" the 0%.

I did not get any battery/material sourcing paperwork. Will be contacting the dealer about what is needed.
