I guess we’ll be the first to post a 2023 PHEV order. Standard PHEV, Vapor blue, space gray interior and panoramic vista roof. Let the fun begin 😎. Ordered at dealership at 11:30am this morning.

I did not say you get Vin as soon as you order. But it is soon after. I will check my records to see when. If you ordered in Sept. you should have a Vin. Just call your dealer and get Vin and order number to track your Escape.
No, this is not correct. My order was confirmed on 11/4/2022 and it has not been scheduled and I do not have a VIN. You get a VIN when it is scheduled for build.
I checked my emails from dealer and Ford. I received a Vin 47 days after my Sept. 19 order.
I do not know how or why it was issued so soon
after order.

Did you read my comment? I call my dealer Every. Single. Week. for an update. Vehicle was ordered in September. It still is not scheduled. No VIN. I will call them again tomorrow.
After almost 15 months, I finally got my 23 PHEV. Addons were trailer hitch and rear cargo mat (out of stock but did not hold build).

Ordered 02/02/2022 : $39010 MSRP
Reordered Nov 4 2022 : $40490 MSRP. $2000 transition private offer to comp
Scheduled in Jan 2023 for week of 3/16.
Unscheduled 2/15 (plant shutdown).
Rescheduled 3/9 for week of 4/14.
Built 4/11.
Delivered 4/25 : $42490 MSRP. (should have $2000 price protection)
(Dealer Website auto-listed it at $46225 with addons like pinstripe, digishield, market value adjustment...)

I paid current MSRP minus the transition private offer. Dealer was confused about the same year MSRP price protection. I got a signed form saying if they get the comp after 60 days, they will refund me. (Ford reimburses the dealer 45-60 days, they just did not apply at time of sale.)

I told them no dealer addons. They said they had to apply some protection package, but no charge to me. I agreed. (Another dealer said they had a contract to apply similar to all vehicles.)

Car had 0% battery when I arrived. They made some excuse about their charger not working. Car comes with 120v charger. That worked fine at my home.

Financed with Ford at 0% for 36 months. Dealer had trouble finding that offer. Started with 4% and claimed website was wrong for PHEV. I asked to double check and they "found" the 0%.

I did not get any battery/material sourcing paperwork. Will be contacting the dealer about what is needed.

Was the 0% for 36 months based on the available financing as of your original February 2022 order or the November 2022 reorder?

I am in the same boat with a March 2022 order, reordered in November and now schedule for July 2023 production. I'm trying to see what financing to expect. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that the financing offers cannot be held open - you get what's being offered at the time that you finance the vehicle.

Woohoo!

I talked to my salesman on Friday and he said that he was able to change a priority code on my order to give it a higher priority, so hopefully it will be built sometime this decade. (original order submitted 9/30/22) :-/

Window sticker finally showed up on the escape search. $48,586 won’t be long now.

Does your PHEV have the premium package? From my observations/investigations it appears that Escape PHEVs with the premium package are being prioritized ahead of the minimally equipped PHEVs. This is not surprising given that Ford is in business to maximize profits. Just hoping I won't have to reorder for a 2024.

The order for my minimally equipped PHEV was confirmed on 11/04/2022 but it is not yet scheduled. My order is currently categorized as "Unscheduled-Clean" which I think means that it is eligible to be scheduled. That seems to suggest that parts availability is not an issue.
Our escape is totally loaded with all options. The only thing I didn’t get was the trailer package and the hitch.

Placed 2023 ESCAPE PHEV order with premium pkg and trailer hitch on October 4th. Recently scheduled for production week of July 10th.

I order our 2023 PHEV same order as yours except the trailer hitch on October 6th. I am curious what state you reside in. My dealer here is AZ told me Ford sent a message to dealers in January that certain states will receive priority due to state emission requirements.

Alabama. Other order detail that may or may not make a difference. Order date was October 3rd vs 4th. X-Plan discount through my employer. Ford star white metallic tri-coat. No sun roof.

I also learned that there is an offer/incentive certificate attached to my order. It allows me to choose the interest rates or cash offer at the time of my order or the current rates and offer at the time I receive the vehicle and finance. On the certificate is $500 OFF or interest rates of 2.99% 0-60 months; 3.99% 72 months; 4.99% 84 months.

Nope, mine only has the towing package and all-weather floor mats. Having worked for Ford (Engineering/Finance/Marketing) for 25 years, I don't think that they are prioritizing the Escapes that way. (I would agree with you on other vehicles, like Broncos...) However, I do think that my local dealer in small-town Oregon doesn't place custom orders very often and so they have stumbled through the process.

Thanks for the reply, My order was the same as yours, color, no sunroof too. I hope to get a production date notice in June. Last week I received the same supply chain delay email from Ford. Hopefully the last one.

Good to know. Multiple posts here of PHEVs with premium package being delivered (or scheduled) already where their order date was well after mine. There are so many factors in the build scheduling process. It is mysterious to the customer.
I was told by a very experienced Toyota salesman that the vast majority of the 2023 Rav4 Primes are being delivered to the coasts, (especially California) where demand for EVs is much higher. The only Primes they have sold in Minnesota (I think he said there were only 2 at his dealership) were shipped from dealers in New Jersey. The wait here for a for a 2023 Rav4 Prime is usually quoted as 6 years. He said the several customers had flown to New Jersey and driven their cars home to MN. This doesn't work in California, where they're snapped up as they come in.

The Rav4 Prime is probably in higher demand than the Escape PHEV, but I wonder if we're seeing some of the same effects.
Our PHEV titanium is off the assembly line and built. It is waiting to be delivered to northeast Ohio.
