Hi, does anyone have a 2017 Escape with Adaptive Cruise Control and upgraded the firmware to get city Stop & Go like Ford added in 2018? I know the 2017 Escapes that come with Adaptive Cruise can't slow less than 25 MPH before it goes into standby. In 2018 Ford added Stop & Go into there Adaptive Cruise Control system. This will stop your car without stepping on the brakes and when the car in front of you starts moving on, the car will accelerate and keep you a certain distance behind the car in front of you. I rented a 2018 Escape Titanium and it had the Stop & Go. That was really nice in heavy stop and go traffic.

I have the ACC but did not know you could update the firmware to make that happen. Does your dealer do that?

You could upgrade the firmware with UCDS and then enable the values in the other modules. That system has parameters in the ABS, CCM(Obviously),BdyCM,IPC,IPMA, and maybe the APIM.

The 2017 Fusions had it and while it was nice to have, it was too clumsy for me.
