Android auto / SYNC 3 /navigation screen

Is there a way to install android auto screen without losing the factory-fit SONY sound system?

The radio technician here says he can fit a android screen having features like Bluetooth, maps, rear camera view, etc, but in the process you'll lose the amplifiers/SONY sound system that came in as stock.

alternately, can i upgrade to a bigger screen like the newer models have - sync 3 / sync 4 ? the dealer here says they don't do this upgrade job.

Is this a Kuga rather than an Escape?
I've never seen that layout here in the US.
IF this follows the US 2015 he can do a Sync 3 conversion to an 8" screen and you keep the factory Sony as that's the DSP and a few logic changes to the ACM.
This is what the US control panel looks like.
