I have a 20 SE. I bought the Titanium model's autodimming mirror (JU5Z17700C) as an upgrade to the manual one. When I pulled off the windshield camera cover I saw that there wasn't a harness to plug into. Is there a y cable or something I can order to provide power to the mirror?

Actually the answer is yes.
You're going to need to get the plug from a JY donor vehicle or find the part number for the Motorcraft replacement pig tail.
After that you would need to take power from the BCM/fuse box under the glove compartment using a fuse that only has power during run.

This is what the manual shows for C911 which is the connector for the mirror.
Pin #
1 CBP09 (VT-GY) 22 FUSE - 9 OR CIRCUIT BREAKER
2 CLS10 (GN-BN) 22 CTRL MOD. - REVERSE LEFT OR COMMON
3 GD214 (BK-BU) 22 GROUND - INSTRUMENT PANEL STRUCTURE
4 * * Not Used
5 * * Not Used

So Pin1 is 12v+, Pin 3 is ground.
The purpose of Pin 2 is to turn off the auto dim function when the car is in reverse.

I have been looking into doing this as well. I am curious as to where I should run the Pin 2 wire to. If I understand correctly it would need to see when the car is in reverse, I am just not sure the best place to do this would be. Power and ground seem to be cut and dry for this as mentioned above. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Finished the install today. Just to close the loop for anyone who is looking at doing this: pin 1, 12 V+ is white wire and pin 3 ground is black wire on mirror side.
Is the camera cover hard to remove? Did you run a power wire from the fuse panel? Very interested in how to install

I never made the connection for the backup. It was something that I couldn't get information on.
