This issue has been going on since I got the car I believe it just wasnt as bad. Now whenever I turn the car on the air blows from the feet area instead of on the face. It can be blowing on the face and il stop for gas and turn the car off and when I turn it back on it clicks to the feet.

You may have an issue with the blend door or the motor that controls it. If you hear odd clicking noises, it's likely the motor. Blend doors can stick, too. Of course, I'm sure there are other things that can go wrong with the controls for these, but those are the most common issues. I think they can be calibrated, but I've never done that or tried to. I would suggest getting a diagnosis. What year, trim, engine, etc. do you have? This is helpful to know for questions like this. Most of us add it to our signature.
