My car has the message that says engine fault service now. We think we fixed it but it doesn’t disappear. Is there a way I can clear it myself?

Get OBDII reader with that ability. Clear code. If fixed it will be gone. If not, may be gone for a number of ignition cycles and reappear. Would help to know what you fixed. Also year model engine of car.

When you plug in the code reader no codes come up. But when you turn on the car it still says Engine Fault Service Now. We took it to a Ford house and they said it was a negative battery cable and a fuel pressure sensor. We fixed the battery cable and we couldn’t find anything wrong with the fuel pressure sensor.
