I'm considering installing a few of these units so I have the ability to use or charge more devices while driving. The two included in the car just aren't enough. I don't need access to the car's network with these so a straight connect to the 12v system like this is all I want or need.

I'm curious if anyone has added additional USB ports in their 4G Escape? Where did you end up installing them? A photo or two would be helpful as well.

What's wrong with a simple 12V outlet USB adapter that you want to hardwire your additional ports instead?

So I just purchased a 3 in 1 into the lights 12v port. My wife uses it. I have 1 battery backups I leave plugged in all the time. For the kids in the back. I purchased a cable to adapt. So we have 6 devices plugged in normally. In car wifi for the family.

No, only that more were wanted and two included weren't enough. Would like to know what more are for, maybe some double-naught spying or something else interesting.

My car has 2 in front and 2 in rear. When I added the 1 into 3. Everyone in the family has an outlet.

and I have 3! LOL I plug my phone into the car during trips for maps. I have 2 back up batteries that I leave plugged in so when we camp. I don't have to run the car to charge battereis. The pocket on the passenger side holds them nicely.

I have 22 Titanium I would like to figure out how to add 2 more to inside the center console. there is a blank in its place currently.
