Power Inverter Install

I am wondering if anyone has hooked up a power inverter (1500w) directly to the 12v battery in their hybrid or plug or plug in hybrid. I know a lot of people are doing it to their rav4 primes. (
). Wondering if anyone has done anything similar to their escape.

I hooked a 2500 watt inverter to both of my previous Escape Hybrids, a 2008 and 1 2012, no problem.
I've yet to need to do this with my 2021 Escape PHEV, but it should work.
I leave them in run mode so the 12 volt battery doesn't run down, the engine would cycle to keep up charge.

Note also, I connected negative to the frame of the vehicle, not directly to the battery.
A great emergency power system during our annual South Carolina hurricanes.
