Yeah...I checked for aussie Ford TSB's involving my vin. after reading about this issue.
My car must be perfect as no issues of any kind apparently.

From Rear wheel noise like something hitting

Two page document. First page covers 2017-2019 Escapes, second page mentions most 2013-2018 Ford models equipped with AWD (Escape and Kuga.)
I have a 2016 Escape AWD which occasionally makes a clunking noise when making slow turns in parking lots. This seem to occur when making turns with light breaking. I also get a similar, but louder, clunk after accelerating hard during a normal turn. If I accelerate slowly while making the turn I do not get the clunk and I never experience it after straight line acceleration. The noise seems to come from the rear and I thought might it some loose connection in the rear end. Anyone else experience this?

It would seem to fit in with what the second page "SSM 46965" describes.
