Hi, I need help with a Escape 2017 SE, it shaking when I reach about 1,500 to 2,000 rpm it doesn't matter the speed, it happens when I'm in regular street or freeway, I took it to the mechanic and they change oil, change spark plugs, they i took it to the dealer ship and they told me that every thing mechanic and electric was fine, that I needed to change the 4 tires, so i changed them, but i still have the same problem. it has 68K miles. Does any body has a similar issue?

If you scroll back through this thread you will find that others changed the transmission fluid to solve this issue so that would be the next thing to try if it hasn't already been done.
Ignore any dealer telling you this is not needed...the fact that they suggested that you buy new tires speaks volumes for their mechanical knowledge.

I have the 2014 Escape 2.0 titanium EcoBoost as well. 93K miles. We have the same symptoms. The car shudders around 1800 to 2000 rpms. No engine lights have gone off. The dealership couldn't say anything was wrong with it but they experienced it too. Suggested using 93 fuel.
Another dealership said they couldn't help and another said they weren't looking at transmissions at this time. I'll check the transmission fluid.
I filed a report with the NHTSS for potential recall.
Any other advice out there.
I am looking about this all over internet and asking facebook group but no conclusion so far, i am having the exact same problem with my 2.5L. what resolved your issue please?

I am getting shakes upon acceleration and even when the car is idle without gear engaged at between 1800 to 2600 RPM.

My 2017 has a weird shudder at low RPM. Took it to the dealer and asked them to look at the transmission. Instead they reset the adaptive driving and sent me on my way. Car is still shuddering and feeling like something is slipping. I'm at the end of my extended warranty and can't help but feel the dealer sent me on my way hoping that transmission holds until the warranty is over.

Under what circumstances does it shudder, in 6th gear at low revs or any gear?
Does it shudder in Sport mode or when idling?

It happens when I'm driving at low speed, around 1500 RPM. Feels like a rhythmic shake underneath the car.
Has it always done this or did it start in recent times?
These Escapes have a tendency to shudder at low speed in 6th gear when accelerating even lightly due to the high gearing especially in normal auto mode.

Try having a transmission fluid change done and see if that solves the problem before you dig any deeper. Many members here suggest that it should be changed every 30,000 to 50,000 miles regardless of Ford's advice to change it at 100,000 miles or 10 years or whatever.
No need to do a trannie flush, just change the fluid.

Had the transmission fluid changed and it no longer feels like it's slipping around 1,500 RPM. Paperwork stated the fluid was burnt. Still shifts a little hard but much better. Front end still has a vibration but I think it may be a suspension issue...

The vibration/shudder could still be normal as per post #27. Does it do it in Sport mode?

My 2017 Ford Escape 2.0 AWD is also doing it at low RPM's in 6th gear (especially noticeable when on cruise around 70-85km/hr). I am going to try to get a transmission fluid change to see if it corrects it (I have never had one done and I am at 133,000km).

So I got the transmission fluid changed this morning and so far I've only driven about 25 minutes but I tried to reproduce the shuddering issue at 76-86km/hr on cruise over flat roadway and I was not able to. It drove in gear 6 at low RPM's (around 1500-1700) without any issues this time! No shuddering at all. It was very easy to reproduce the issue prior to the transmission fluid change. My mechanic said the fluid was quite black... I was at 133,000km and I don't believe it had ever been changed previously. I will report back in a couple of days IF the shuddering returns as I am doing ~3hrs of driving a day the next 3 days but I suspect this is the solution! Thanks everyone!

It's normal for the trans fluid Ford uses in these transmissions to turn black quickly. There have been a few posts on it in other threads. So, the black colour doesn't necessarily indicate the fluid requires replacing. Having said that, Ford do specify fluid change intervals that are far too long. It's great news the fluid change has fixed your problem.
