Got in my escape at the grocery store and the screen was reversed. So bizarre! The backup cam was reversed too.

Better option, pull the negative battery cable for ~35 minutes to force a cold reboot of all the modules.

Never had a problem doing this on ANY Ford model since 2013, that was the year Ford began setting a 30 minute sleep timer on the BCM and several other modules.
Don't know what you've worked on before, but this is one of the first thing fleet shops do before breaking out FRS or IDS and forcing a module reset as the button controls don't always force a reset on the 1st, 2nd or even the 3rd try..

Cold boot is not going to wipe out any modules, the config and firmware (calibration in Ford speak) are held in PRAM.

Lucky me it happened again. Rebooted sync and back to normal. Technology is awesome!

Never happened to me on my 2021. With the tachometer screen on th hybrid and now this. The 2020 looks more funny :b

It happened to me about a month ago on my 2022 SEL. It fixed itself after a cold boot when turn it back on an hour later.

Push and hold power knob and next track button together for several seconds till it reboots.

Mine did this months ago and then after I restarted the engine it was normal. Never did it again so far. I guess this is what some are calling ginky.
