Which socket are you replacing?
One by the shifter, one in the console or the one on the rear console trim?

The trim ring is what keeps it from turning, so this will be either the first one or the 3rd one.
Which direction is the connector pointing on the original bad socket?

The part for the repair would be CV6Z-19N236-AA.
On the -C part the power connector connects to the socket at a 90Âş angle, hence the question about orientation.
For the repair you pull the connector through the new trim ring, install the trim ring, connect the socket and press it back in so that the small square side holes match the nubs on the interior of the trim ring.
The socket presses out a set of retainers on the inside of the ring to keep the trim ring from turning and the nubs prevent the socket from turning.
