My 2013 Titanium 2.0L Ecoboost has stalled out on me three times in the last few weeks and it's had an intermittent rough idle since new. Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm at 69,000kms.

Nothing at all.. it was as if someone hit the Start button.. which is what I thought I did accidentally the first time. Then once I saw it happen again and again, I realized it wasn't me. My OBD2 reader showed NO codes at all.
I'm doing more research and thinking it might be related to TSB 13-12-12.

A possibility, at the same time, OBD may not see anything but a Ford Diagnostic tool may since it can see into the other modules. However, best time to do that is to get to the dealership while having issue, if when at the dealership they cannot see any codes.

When I had issues of the car jerking all around the place, if I shut it down and restarted it would disappear along with all the codes.

Those are the correct symptoms of what the TSB will address. The symptoms usually do not produce errors in the car until they really make it angry. I had mine into various dealers whom told me nothing was wrong (a common phrase which may also come out 'characteristic of vehicle') Left dealer in one of these situations one night, and next morning had the error 'Engine fault -Service now !'. They towed it to dealer at which point, the error cleared itself. This is why you should do as I did and snap a picture of the error. They did the TSB and fixed it.
Hey guys!

I'm glad to learn that your concerns have been addressed!

Keep me posted and if the symptoms return please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Have a great day! :)

Hi Tricia,

Are you with Ford Canada?
Not too confident that it's been addressed yet. It was running rough, felt like it was going to stall out this afternoon. It didn't cut out, but I'll be keeping a close eye. A new vehicle shouldn't be doing this. I'm at 69k, but at least 60 are highway, the engine should be running like a champ.

Hi,

New to this forum. I'm a US diplomat living overseas and I have a 2013 Tuxedo Black AWD SE Escape and have been experiencing the P0106 error code. I took it to a local Ford dealership who "resolved" the issue by reprogramming the system. The code went away for a few days, but now is back.

Does anyone have an actual copy of the TSB 13-12-12? And does anyone know the steps to resolving it? I'm not sure the dealership's here can access those TSB files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Did u find out what the issue is? I'm having an idle problem and lack of power. No codes therefor Ford says there's nothing wrong with it. Not to mention they refused to test drive it in conditions that it starts acting up (uphill and drives longer than 10 mins). Mine is at 65,000 kilometres.

Does disservice = FordService, if so then they have pulled away from the forum. Another suggestion is to try another dealer. If one dealer can't fix it after 3 times, then I think the next step would be to try out another dealer.
