I finally did it, I tried the Forscan program today. After some aggravation, and colorful language, I got everything working and now have Bambi Mode, turned off the low beam running lights (a.k.a fleet vehicle or Canadian DRLs) and enabled Global unlock. I used Trashhauler's tutorial on google docs:
