Does anyone know what the torque is for the oil drain plug on the '14 2.0?
On my previous '01 Escape it was 19 ft lbs, and easy to find (the spec., that is). I searched and could not find it on the '14.
I know most don't do this, but I am leery of steel plug/aluminum pan (as in the case of the '01). It didn't take much effort to go past 19 ft lbs, and eventually cause damage.......and unfortunately, it isn't the plug that would lose the fight!
