I bought it used about 2 months ago now. It didn’t come with a spare, just the air pump with the goop in the underneath rear area. On a positive note, there’s a lot of storage room under there with no spare tire. Knock on wood, in 45 years of driving I’ve never had a flat on the side of the road while driving. Over the years, I‘ve found plenty of nails in my tires with a slow leak, or a flat in the driveway, that I’ve taken and gotten fixed at the tire store. I also checked my tires and air pressure regularly, and now constantly monitor it with the “new“ display readouts in the car these days to lead turn any issues. Anyhow, I decided I’d feel more comfortable having a spare, at least for trips outside the local area. So I bought one of these. Sure you can cobble together a cheaper solution but this is a very nice set, well built. It will fit in the spare tire area, but barely. I bought the full kit, jack and bag included, and plan to keep the spare kit in the garage for my short daily trips and throw it in the back on the long ones. I have no affiliation with this group.
