I'd try charging the battery and then see if any problems persist. Some features will shut down when the computer is saying that the battery voltage is low.

 

Is the Sync 3 (8" screen) working and the Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning dedicated control panel (lower on the centre console) the bit not working?

If it's like the earlier Sync 2, there's a power switch to turn on the HVAC system. Could that be off?

 

Did you ever solve this issue? I just had the same problem. Dedicated control panel, no power, no lights. Started after getting jumped (-38 temps). I sat the vehicle for a couple hours attempted to drive but could not defrost windows due to this. I have tried a power cycle, turned off and waited 30 mins. Vehicle is currently off and block plugged in. Is there a fuse I can check would a fuse blow with this conditions?

Oh i got it. Took out Fuse checked it, then plugged back in heard some noise and it all working. Guess that would reset it.

Was fuse 71 below the glove box

 

I'm hoping this is what just happened to mine. Just got the battery replaced at the dealer. Started driving home and no climate control. Brought it back they better not charge me.

 

Just wanted to add to this thread that I had the exact same problem -- the AC and heater controls did not work, with the exception of the blower motor (1,2,3,4) which was working just fine. The dash lights for the AC and heater controls were not illuminating, changing the location of the air flow (feet, panel, defrost) did not make any changes, and the temperature adjustment did not change anything. This had all stopped working at the same time. (Worked fine the day before, and then no longer worked at all.)

I removed fuse #71 from the fuse box panel under the glove box and examined the fuse. The fuse looked fine. After about one minute of being out, I replaced the fuse, started the car, and all the AC and heater controls were working properly!

Thank you. This worked. Climate control no power after, low battery charged w trickle charger. Searched internet, you tube video showed location of fuse 71. Pulled out, waited, reinsert, heard noise of something engaging. Started car and climate control working! Yeah, saved me $$$ going to dealer.

Thanks I had the same problem replaced battery everything worked except climate control had no power...let car sit for 14 hours (owners manual said 8 hours) and didnt do anything...pulled fuse 71 like you suggested waited a min plugged back in heard noises and climate control had power again Thanks worked great

 

FYI, Unbelievable. So I replace battery on Ford Escape 2019. Not an easy job. Then Heating / Air control module didn't work. Checked all fuses once . All looked fine. Then pulled out other fuses , ie, F66 which was for driver door lock. Put back and problem solved. No idea why working now and why this resolved issue.

 

Check your fuse under the glove box passenger side . Remove felt covering 2 slide locks Pull straight down on slide locks come off very easy. Check fuse 71 third up from the bottom left side of fuse panel CLOSEST TO DRIVER SIDE 2nd column . Should be a 7.5 amp mini fuse.
