This Came up on Ebay: A Bronco Sport Cluster part #:
M1PT-10849-ANE

View attachment 79566

Based on it's shape it should fit, the seller has it listed for $720 and I doubt they'll get it. Still, it should fit and work in an escape. This is the So Called "Mid-series" Cluster.

Do you have menu options that allow you to get trip a/b with this cluster? I have a Hybrid SE with the same cluster and the options are seriously limited. Going into the dealer next week to have them look at it but it seems like even the models with a 4.5" screen have more options than I do with this one.

Your cluster likely has TRIP A and TRIP B but you need to enable them using the menu.

Yea, I made a thread about it. Mine doesn't have it. Menu options are very limited. Basically only gives me options to change from mph to kph, and an "oil life" with brake coach option (hybrid). Here is the thread I started: No option on Odometer for Trip A/B

It's pretty crazy. So yours does have it? This is bugging me to no end. Hopefully an "update" or flash will fix it. But I haven't had any responses from actual SE Hybrid owners yet, or '22 owners.

Hey guys! Thanks for the instruction so far, it was very helpful! I was able to pick up a Bronco Sport Outer Banks instrument cluster for my 2020 2.0L AWD SEL super cheap this week and get it installed.

Almost everything works great as all I did was Plug-n-play the gauges... Almost being that my cruise control is not working .

HOWEVER... when I try to upload the data from the old instrument cluster FORScan won't let me make any changes to the IPC, and won't let me correct the mileage. I played around with FORScan this weekend and was able to go through and make a lot of changes on the vehicle modules, but when I tried to change anything on the IPC it would say "Process Interrupted" and would not make any changes.

Any insight to what could be causing this? Is it because they are from a Bronco Sport?

You would need to reach out to Forscan, but with them being in Russia and sanctions and whatnot, I think they've stopped offering services:

It could also be that there is a problem with your adapter? See if you can make a small change to your original cluster.

Curious on how this works out, I’m looking to switch my gauge cluster and I can’t find any digital clusters for the escape so I’m looking at broncos. Wonder why the cruise control isn’t working

I think it's because the Bronco Sport it came from only had basic cruise control, so it isn't communicating properly with the switch on the steering wheel for the adaptive cruise control. And I can't get FORScan to update the IPC module for some reason.

Over on the Ford trucks forum, Ford Trucks Forum, there is a member that has/had the ability to reprogram clusters for the F-250/F350s when upgrading from the XLT to the Lariat and higher trim clusters. I'm not sure if he can still do it since Ford has this habit of changing modules and comm standards. He may not be able to do for the new Fords. But it would not hurt to track him down and ask. The only thing is, IF he can do it, you would have to send him the cluster and any other info he needs.

His member name is Livnitup. It might be worth the time to track him down.

Hey, this bronco cluster has low gearing rather than Manuel mode, how does this differ have you had any issues with your paddle shifters when switching over? Thanks

Haven't had any issues with it. When you put it in Manual mode all the PRNDL lights go off since the cluster doesn't show a manual mode, but it works properly.

The gear shifters also work fine, but it doesn't show what gear the vehicle is in on the cluster. Still trying to see if I can enable that somehow.

Was finally able to get everything working! I kept loading the old profile from my car before I swapped the cluster out. So after loading a new profile, I was able to go in and get everything working on the Bronco Sport instrument cluster.

Pretty sure bronco is 16 gallons and escape 15.8, didn’t know I needed too, you know how?
Yeah, you can probably get away without updating it, the fuel level will still read the same, but the computer will use that to estimate how many miles to empty you have.

For some reason I thought the Bronco Sport tank was 16.5 gallons. But .2 gallons probably won't make too much of a difference.

Yeah bronco sport is 16 gallons exactly. Ford Escape 1.5 is 14.7 and escape 2.0 (which I have) is 15.8, can’t imagine it will affect it too much, I saved my IPC from the old cluster and uploaded it into the bronco cluster so I’m wondering if that will update the level

I got my new cluster today, but when i try to write the as built to the new cluster It stops and will not continue. Says wrong security key. Anyone have any ideas.

As it sits my cruise control does not work and there is a DTC in the IPC saying wrong info from cruise control module?

You need a forscan full license, if you have that reach out to them.
