I'm new to this forum, I've being playing around with forSCAN and what I achive so far is:
Bambi Mode
Global open/close windows
Change Splash Screen
Add functional Climate Control to Sync
Add functional heated Steering wheel to home screen on Sync

All the above with the non As-built options in forScan changes were made in the APIM, BCM, PDM and DDM modules.

I'm searching if anybody knows how to disable Double Horn on exit when engine running.

Hello, I have a bronco sport but the escape and bronco sport share some features, what is the Bambi mode? And do you have any spreadsheet to change the global window? An add the climate control? Thanks

Hi all.

I’ve done a lot of work to my ‘17 F250 with Forscan. Bambi, global window up (global down is standard), seat icons on sync, mirror fold when locking, added ambient lighting to interior/doors and sync, NAV screen plus a few others.

So I know how Forscan works. But before I go mucking around in this new 2020 SEL, I wondering if anyone else has given it a look.

Hi I did Bambi mode , global up/ down with the remote . I didn’t do anything else other than the couple of things I could enable or disable based on the built as .

My son asked me if I wanted to turn that off as he saw it in the built as , add climate control , heated steering, splash screen, and the heated steering wheel to the . Bambi mode is being able to keep fog lights on when high beams are on. I didn’t need to change anything for the global windows …it was on the built as screen to enable or disable

So after messing around with my BCM I have to re-Enable the switch for the power liftgate everytime I get in the car because it switches to Disabled on the screen. Not sure what I did but I guess I'm gonna have to go through and reset it to factory and then make my changes again...oops.

My F150/F250 both had an in-dash car level - I'm not sure of the Bronco has this option but it would be neat if someone figured out if it's possible with the escape. Not that I plan to off-road my Escape, but I did like using it time to time.

I have not been able to find much on the forums for the Escapes either. Thankfully I have a very savvy son who programmed some things for me and showed me how to do them from the factory built screens, once I have my own cable and more time with him I will work on other things

I tried enabling global open/close using the plain English text options in the BCM. There were multiple items for each so I enabled them all. I also check the DDM and the PDM and saw global close was enabled. I got global open to work by double press then hold with the unlock button. I tried global close by double press then hold with the lock button but it doesn’t work. Has anyone else with this problem gotten the global close to work? Am I doing something wrong with the remote?

I have this enabled and it has worked for the windows but does not work for the moonroof/sunroof which says it's included when enabled

I tried to do some things yesterday but forscan said they didn’t recognize the vehicle. It’s a 22 PHEV sel, so I need to do anything differently? It did ask if I wanted to enable faster data transmission so I hit yes because it Was recommended

I bought the OBDLink EX and have not been able to get it working. I have the red LED no matter what I do. I tried installing the proper drivers multiple times and it just doesn't want to work. Reading online it seems that it could be a USB 3.0 issue but I've been back and forth with their customer support for a while now and no resolution. It's now been a week since I've heard anything back from them and I'm beginning to become very unhappy. I'm going to have to return it I guess.

I sent them a copy of this post but they still do not seem to want to work to get this resolved with me.

I have an older module with the flip switch I used on my F250 but it doesn't seem to want to work well with the Escape - keeps telling me it can't recognize the vehicle.

Did you try manually resetting the one touch up for all windows from inside the car before trying the global function again or are they all working ok?

I have a Bronco Sport Badlands and it does have this. My old Outer Banks did NOT.

Firstly check if global up works by unlocking the car and operating global down to put all windows down and wait for a few seconds before pressing and holding the lock button on the fob for 4 or 5 seconds to see if windows go up.
If not try this:-
1. Turn on ignition.
2. Roll the window down completely by pressing the switch and then continue to hold the switch for a few seconds and release.
3. Roll the window completely up by lifting the switch and continue to hold it for a few seconds.
4. Test one touch window up and down function by just pressing or lifting the switch once,
5. Repeat for all windows, assuming all windows have this function, not just driver's window.
6. Test global window function.

I may have figured this out. I have a Maverick (no Escape) but a lot of the hardware is similar.

I know it sounds silly, but I'd really like to see this on my hybrid... Unfortunately, I can't seem to find this. Are you able to select this as a screen option under the settings? Yeah but it’ll only be in the page selection settings on an FX4. It might be something you could enable with...

I have a new to me 2020 Titanium that I am trying to get modified to my liking with Forscan. I did many changes to my F-150 with Forscan, but the Escape is fighting me. I have a number of things I want to but the only spreadsheet info I have is for the F-150, and most of them won't work. I want to change the turn flashes from 3 to 5, but the change I try just hits a dead end. Bambi mode is on my list also, but my codes are useless. I'm sure there are some functions that work on the F150 that won't on the Escape, but without some divine guidance, I don't know which ones!
Anyone with specific info that they want to share would be appreciated.
In another post I will list the items I'd like to change. It is ambitious!
On the F150 Forum we often use Private Messages when the conversation is best kept private. I just joined here, so I don't know if that works here. I'm open to suggestion.

Could you share with me the changes you made for Bambi mode? I don't have info on the Escape. Just the F150.
